Next Linguaskill Test sessions:
3 March 2021
All sessions are held at 4.30pm Australia/Melbourne time.
Linguaskill is designed by Cambridge Assessment using artificial intelligence and remote proctoring for security. The test determines the level of the participants in line with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), the internationally recognised standard for describing language ability. Participants receive an internationally recognised certificate with results. The results are received within 48 hours and include in-depth reporting.
There are two types of Linguaskill tests: Business and General English. The test is used by employers for job applicants and to help employees ascertain their ability in the workplace. The test is used as a placement test in many higher education institutes throughout the world and in Melbourne it is used by Monash University as an entrance level test for students. The tests cover all four language skills: Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading in modules.
Part 1 – Reading and Listening (combined): 60-85 mins approx
Part 2 – Writing: 45 mins
Part 3 – Speaking: 15 mins approx
